Grading Categories
Performance – 50%: Daily cooperation and productivity. This includes warm-ups, game play, sportsmanship
and attitude, safety, following rules, application of skills practiced and individual fitness
plan/goals.
- 10 points possible a day. 3 of the 10 points are for our daily warm-ups. (If you don't do the daily
warm-ups your highest possible grade will only be a 70%.) All of the daily points
are earned through effort, attitude and personal performance.
Reading/Writing 15%: Written tests on rules, strategy, terminology, and skills. Any other written work.
Classwork/Responsibility 35% - Dressing for class (PE shirt, PE shorts, and tennis shoes). 2 points a day
Participation - 0%: Record keeping (fitness scores, work completion, measures of effort)
